Q: Know what happens when you drop Mentos into Coke?

A: A reaction that causes Coke to shoot violently out of the container.

This is no urban myth. Lots of people have tried it and succeeded, probably to their dismay. I can imagine all kinds of experimenters (kids, teens, collegians, adults) trying this on their property. Think about what happens if you blow soda everywhere -- Big sugary, sticky mess. Ouch.

Anyway, here is the latest video demonstration of Mentos and Coke in action. This is a great video of two guys, alot of Coke and even more Mentos being too creative for their own good. They've simulated the fountain show at the Bellagio in Las Vegas for your viewing pleasure.
